Occasions arise where original winding data is not available; it may have been recorded incorrectly, or a different service center may have stripped the core but not completed the repair. In those cases, the service center must come up with a new “bare core” winding design. Motor Winding Workbench has some specific features to address this need.

An important element of the Reference Motor database is that all motor data includes the motor manufacturer name. The manufacturer name adds authenticity and helps members understand the source of the data.

Data verification and redesign of machines with form coil windings can be done in Motor Winding Workbench with the exception of rectangular conductor and insulation dimensioning. To address this need, a Form Coil Worksheet has been added to EASA’s online calculators.
