There are numerous webinars and related training resources that explain the basics of pump curves and their importance to reliable pump operation. But that’s only half the story. The system curve explains why a pump operates at a particular place on the pump curve. This webinar will explore the basics of system curves and how changes to the system affect the operating point and pump reliability. Topics covered include:

  • Identifying the pump operating point, head and flow
  • Elevation head, friction head and velocity head
  • Controlling pump performance with system parameters
  • The effects of system modification on pump performance

This webinar is intended for pump technicians, shop supervisors, sales and engineering staff.
