Recipient of the 2025 EASA Award

Mike Dupuis - EASA Award 2025

Past EASA Chairman Sean McNamara, right, left, presents the 2025 Exceptional Achievement Service Award to Mike Dupuis.

Mike Dupuis was raised by a single mother of nine after his father passed away when he was very young. Despite his father’s passing, his mother made sure her kids didn’t miss out on a happy life.

He has held every elected office in his chapter, serving as the director from his region, participating as a committee member and serving as EASA’s 2015-2016 International Chairman. He is highly respected by peers both within and outside the industry.

One letter of recommendation read ...

“One of his greatest strengths is his exceptional leadership skills. I have witnessed his ability to inspire and motivate other EASA members. He consistently leads by example, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Furthermore, he is deeply committed to professional development and community engagement. He actively participates in industry events, shares his knowledge through presentations and publications, and mentors aspiring professionals.”

Another read ...

“This year’s recipient is known as one of the most enthusiastic supporters of all that is great about EASA. He’s gifted at building consensus on matters big and small to make improvements in the association’s offerings to our members.”

While another read ...

“He has worked for years with passionate enthusiasm on behalf of Canadian members to help develop and most recently update the Skilled Trades Ontario 466a, Canadian Electric Motor Technician curriculum and exam.”

Yet another letter read ...

“Wait and see as he never gives up. He will accomplish his task of connecting the EASA Online Learning Center and the ERT Program to our apprenticeship program  . . . and truthfully that is a monumental task. In Canada, the large trades and mostly union trades get attention and he is the only person I know with the tenacity to see this through by keeping people accountable.

In summary ...

“His enthusiasm, dedication and leadership exemplify the qualities this award seeks to recognize.”
