Michael Stewart - EASA Award 2026

Past EASA Chairman Paul Rossiter, right, presents the 2026 Exceptional Achievement Service Award to Michael Stewart.

Michael Stewart has served on many EASA committees, beginning as a state director. Elected as a regional director, he served on EASA’s International Board and ultimately as chairman. He continues his involvement in the Europe Asia Africa Chapter meetings with an always ready to help frame of mind. The best example of his willingness to aid others is after Hurricane Hugo struck an EASA member’s service center. He was quick to leave his own business and go to South Carolina as soon as the storm passed to help get that service center up and running after the disaster. This kind of service above self exemplifies what being an EASA member is all about.
