Imagine a world where professionals in the electrical and mechanical service industry possess superpowers, much like Marvel heroes. In this world, the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) stands as the ultimate team, empowering its members with extraordinary abilities. Through shared best practices, high standards and mutual support, EASA’s international community transforms its members into industry superheroes, ready to tackle any challenge. Here’s how EASA’s international community brings out the hero in each of its members:

International Service Network: The Power of Connectivity
EASA provides access to a truly international service network. Members benefit from a shared language of practices, documents, technical expertise, manuals and training. This cohesion means that EASA members can rely on a consistent and high level of service no matter where they are in the world. Companies around the globe interact with each other to share ideas and develop new ways to improve our industry.

Recognized International Standards and Business Code of Conduct: The Power of Trust
EASA’s business code of conduct and suggested limited warranties are powerful tools, often more influential than traditional contracts. The organization’s commitment to ethical practices and quality assurance fosters trust and reliability among its members.

Active involvement in international standards development and review such as IEC, IEC Ex, and IEEE, as well as participation in conferences and associations, has strengthened EASA’s reputation among end users and top original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This recognition opens doors for members, positioning them as leaders in their field.

Accelerated Business Development: The Power of Networking
EASA’s network offers a unique channel for rapid business development in new countries. Members gain quick access to key contacts, decision-makers and market insights, facilitating swift and informed business expansion. This network is instrumental in providing the resources and information necessary to develop new business opportunities effectively.

Training and Certificate Program: The Power of Expertise
EASA is evolving into an international training and certificate powerhouse. Technicians and engineers trained through EASA are recognized globally, which enhances their professional credentials and reputation.

This focus on education ensures that EASA members are at the forefront of industry knowledge and skills, technological advancements and best practices.

Extensive Installed Base and Service Providers: The Power of Reach
With 1,700 service providers across 71 countries, EASA's unique network gives members unparalleled insight into the global market, allowing them to address customer needs promptly and efficiently.

This global network enables EASA members to leverage the collective expertise and resources of the entire community. Whether it's solving a complex business issue or addressing electrical and mechanical challenges, EASA members can rely on their international peers for swift and effective solutions.

By fostering a global network of trusted professionals, EASA ensures its members can provide exceptional service, rapidly develop new business opportunities and stay ahead in a competitive landscape. The shared knowledge, standards and ethical practices that define EASA create a foundation

for success that benefits all its members worldwide. In this community, every member is a hero, working together to shape the future of the industry.

Voices of EASA’s Heroes
The value of EASA’s international community is best narrated through the experiences of its members, who share their stories of heroism.

Case Study: ICC International
The power of the EASA Europe Asia Africa Chapter (Region 9) is paramount, not only for ICC International but for every member who’s ready to tap into a new market. Several years ago, ICC International made an intentional decision to grow our business throughout Europe. With the help of EASA Region 9 and its members, we’ve done just that - over 50% of ICC International business is now worldwide.

We all know success doesn’t come quickly, nor does it come easily. It took ICC years to gain the trust of motor shops and service providers throughout Europe. Like any partnership, trust must be earned, and that is our focus. Regardless of any call to action from EASA Region 9, we don’t hesitate, we attend. Why? Because ICC International knows the value and it will always be worth the company’s time.

As Roberta describes above, EASA Region 9 is like that of a superhero. However, it takes more than being listed as a member on the website. The real value is having physical presence. This is how you feel the “superpowers” of EASA Region 9 – or EASA’s international Convention & Solutions Expo or any other chapter or region, for that matter. You must partake in the activities to realize the available benefits.

Some of the benefits include:

  • Connectivity and Networking – ICC takes advantage of the vast network EASA Region 9 has built, not only in networking functions, but by genuinely understanding members’ businesses and any problems they need to solve.
  • Trust – We at ICC International trust the EASA Region 9 network because of the shared values, standards and business acumen that all members hold. In turn, trust is shared. At ICC, if we have a question, we know we can find an expert in the EASA Region 9 community who’s willing to share their expertise. How do we know this? Because members reach out to us for our expertise.
  • Reach - With 1,700 service providers across 71 countries, your reach for all things within the electromechanical industry is truly at your fingertips.

Having a successful business is important, but to ICC International there’s another chapter to this story. One that transcends business. The friendships that have been fostered. These friendships will far outlast even the best motor produced.

On behalf of ICC International, thank you EASA Europe Asia Africa Chapter for supporting all your members with fierce dedication and making the world a little smaller by bringing members together.
