The seminar and its companion manual have been developed by Austin Bonnett, EASA's education and technology consultant, in collaboration with EASA's Technical Support Specialists and members of EASA's Technical Education Committee.

While the course covers horizontal and vertical squirrel-cage induction motors in the 300 to 5,000 horsepower range, low and medium voltage, most of the principles covered apply to other sizes as well. This seminar focuses primarily on NEMA motors.
