EASA's Liability Policy & Code of Conduct

All guests must accept EASA's Liability Waiver at the time of registration.

Liability Policy

Attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the EASA Convention & Solutions Expo. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless EASA, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the EVENT, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the EASA Convention & Solutions Expo may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of EASA, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the EASA Convention & Solutions Expo.

In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at the EASA Convention & Solutions Expo, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by EASA and Gaylord National, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all EASA Convention & Solutions Expo attendees.

Code of Conduct

It is the policy of EASA that all participants, including attendees, staff, volunteers, and all other stakeholders at EASA meetings will conduct themselves in a professional manner that is welcoming to all participants and free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation. To make it possible for true collaboration, creativity, innovation, and idea exchange to thrive we are committed to facilitating a welcoming, respectful, and professional community for all.  

Participants will avoid any inappropriate actions or statements based on individual characteristics such as age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, nationality, political affiliation, ability status, educational background, or any other characteristic protected by law. Disruptive or harassing behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Harassment includes but is not limited to inappropriate or intimidating behavior and language, unwelcome jokes or comments, and unwanted touching or attention. 

Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. EASA reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any party from the event at any time. Sanctions may range from verbal warning, to ejection from the meeting, to notifying appropriate authorities. If you witness or are subjected to inappropriate behavior or have any other concerns, notify EASA President/CEO or Meetings & Expositions Manager as soon as possible.
