Muchos centros de servicio de EASA han adecuado sus instalaciones para realizar pruebas dinámicas de bombas. Emplear velocidad variable durante las pruebas puede brindar mayor flexibilidad y ampliar las oportunidades para evaluar el rendimiento de las bombas. Para bombas de acoplamiento cerrado (unidades con bomba y motor integrada), basta con un variador de frecuencia. Si se requiere un motor independiente para las pruebas, también son compatibles otras opciones de velocidad variable, como embragues/clutch y motores de CC.
