EASA Technical Support Specialist
Mike Howell joined the EASA staff in 2012 and has worked with rotating electrical machines for more than 20 years. His experience includes redesigns, insulation system development, accelerated life testing, failure analysis and diagnostic testing. Howell has presented seminars and short courses on stator winding design for EPRI and others.
Howell has a master’s degree in engineering from NC State University. He is a member of IEEE, IISE and ASQ, and is certified by ASQ as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Auditor and Quality Engineer. Howell participates in IEEE standards development and is a member of a USNC Technical Advisory Group for various IEC standards.
