If you are sitting on the fence about attending our AGM & Tradeshow or have not attended a meeting in a while this is one you will not want to miss!
The Education Committee (Mike Dupuis & Gerry Siemon) have been working diligently with Skilled Trades Ontario to update our 446A Electric Motor System Technician core curriculum and exam. They have successfully updated the final exam, and will be updating us at our January meeting on how to challenge the exam, along with the new curriculum that will be put into place. John Porier from Skilled Trades Ontariowill also be in attendance to discuss the 446A trade in greater detail.
As you may remember from our last meeting, or you may have read about it in the August EASA Currents EASA International have been working on developing the EASA Online Learning Center and EASA Electromechanical Repair Technician (ERT) Certificate Program that will be ready to launch late January or early February. Craig Whitworth & Linda Raynes from EASA International will be joining us virtually to discuss both options in greater detail, as well as give us a demonstration on both options.
Note: We have also added a Steam Whistle tour as an option on Friday afternoon. If you have already submitted your registration form and would like to attend, please email me the names from your company and Haley will send you an invoice.
