The EASA Mid-Atlantic Chapter invites members to attend Shop Topics™: Motor Controls, a practical educational session designed to provide real-world solutions for today’s electrical apparatus repair shops. Presented by Kevin Larkin, Motor Control Engineer with Worldwide Electric Motors & Controls, the program will cover motor controls, including better troubleshooting techniques, an understanding of VFDs and soft starters, and diagnostic strategies that can be applied immediately in the shop. The event includes breakfast, training materials, networking, products and demonstrations, and a live Q&A with the instructor. Shop Topics: Motor Controls will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Apparatus Repair & Engineering in Hagerstown, Maryland, with registration at $50 per person.
