EASA chapter officers will have an opportunity to take advantage of valuable training at the 2017 Chapter Leadership Forum scheduled March 24-25, 2017, in St. Louis, Missouri. Chapter board members and upcoming leaders are also invited to attend this intensive training. The event will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.
Chapter leaders attending will need to travel to the meeting on Thursday, March 23, and return home on Sunday, March 26.
Registration details will be provided in October.
EASA Headquarters will pay for the meeting space, materials and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday; breakfast and lunch on Saturday). Chapters/ attendees will be responsible for travel and their hotel rooms (the rate at the Hilton will be just $129/night).
For those who arrive early, there will be an informal reception from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23. Afterwards, those who choose may go to dinner with other chapter leaders.
Spouses/guests of chapter leaders are invited to attend the meeting and the various functions but certainly are not required to participate.
The Chapter Leadership Forum is designed to give chapter officers and others the training they’ll need to lead their chapters and to fulfill the duties of their respective offices.

- Effective speaking skills
- Parliamentary procedure 101
- Planning approaches to chapter/regional meetings
- Holding meetings
- Roles of officers
- EASA website overview
- Managing your focus; not your time
