The markings on the external leads of a motor sometimes become defaced or are removed, which makes it necessary to identify and mark them before the motor can be properly connected to the line. This webinar will review procedures that explain how to identify unmarked leads of three-phase motors with one or two windings.

Topics include:

  • IEC / NEMA numbering systems
  • Three-lead machines
  • Six-lead machines
  • Nine-lead machines

This webinar is intended for all personnel who troubleshoot machines with unmarked leads.
