Overall vibration amplitude levels will indicate if a machine has a problem but determining what that problem could be requires both amplitude and frequency data.  The vibration spectrum provides the most convenient way to analyze those two key vibration parameters.  This webinar will introduce the most common and effective techniques for deciphering vibration spectrum data. Topics covered include:

  • Locating the fundamental 1xRPM
  • Harmonics and sidebands, families of peaks
  • Non-synchronous families of peaks
  • Fault Examples

This webinar is intended for service center and field service technicians, shop supervisors and engineering staff.
